Social Media Manager – Intern


Blue Mogul Enterprise is a diversified (minority-disabled-veteran owned) Managed Services Provider Company providing industry-leading hosted voice, broadband and managed-IT solutions for consumers and businesses through direct and channel partners


The mission of the Social Media Manager is to be involved in all things social media and content. The job is ideal for a creative marketing professional who would like to put his or her writing background and social media skills to use; this individual will take the lead on creating organic content across several channels (Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.), manage and grow our following, interact with the community, closely monitor and moderate our audiences and create engaging content.


• Support efforts to promote awareness and recognition of Sunnova on social media as one of the leading residential solar and storage service providers
• Promote the Sunnova brand on social media day-to-day, including creating and posting organic content and engaging and monitoring social conversation
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, executives and external public relations agency to develop and execute communications campaigns and activities
• Develop integrated internal and external social media campaigns and strategies to achieve corporate communications, marketing, and sales targets
• Review analytics reports, create KPIs and monitor trends to determine future best practices
• Collaborate with the Acquisition Marketing team to ensure that our organic social content complements paid social advertising and lead-generation campaigns
• Create and execute a moderation strategy to actively engage with and respond to our audiences
• Build and execute strategies for repurposing content for use across social channels
• Maintain thorough working knowledge of the solar industry and social media space
• Foster collaborative relationships with colleagues in other departments including, Policy, Investor Relations, Legal, Marketing and Customer Care


• Acute attention to detail with strong copywriting skills
• Ability to tackle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Possess an appreciation for the relationship between copy, authenticity, and storytelling
• Desire to consume media, digital marketing, and industry innovation
• Demonstrated knowledge of social media landscape and how to leverage content strategies across channels
• Strong interpersonal skills, including working collaboratively with other teams and functions, and the ability to build trust and gain confidence (particularly with the executive team)
• Ability to see the big picture and how the details come together to form it
• 5 – 7 years’ experience in the area of social media across multiple platforms and channels, with relevant marketing and communications experience
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
